The saddle-type water flow indicator is generally installed at the beginning of the fire main pipe in each zone of the system. It can convert the water flow signal into an output electrical signal and send it to the electric control box or fire control center to display the area where the nozzle sprays water to monitor the system. Alarm function.

When a fire occurs, the nozzle sprays water and the water flows in the pipe. The blades in the impact water flow indicator are deflected and tilted in the direction of the water flow. The air delay device is turned on. If the blades still do not return after the delay set time is reached, the micro movement is triggered. Switch, output electrical signal. When the water flow stops, the blades and push rods are reset and the electrical signal is eliminated. Delaying the alarm signal for a certain period of time is to avoid false alarms caused by instantaneous water pressure fluctuations during firefighting.
